Dave Sweet joined Sutter Hill Ventures as Chief Financial Officer in 2001. Prior to that, Dave was an international tax partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco for many years. There he worked primarily with Asian-based multinationals and cross-border investment funds. Dave managed the firm's U.S. tax practice in Paris from 1982 until 1984.

He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs, and the NVCA CFO Taskforce.

Dave received a BS in Civil Engineering from Stanford University in 1973 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1977.
